ARKANSAS PRESCRIPTION DRUG/OPIOID OVERDOSE PREVENTION PROGRAM VIRTUAL COMMUNITY ADVISORY COUNCIL FORUM

How can community members come together in battling the opioid epidemic that has affected so many counties? This two-day summit will be held virtually with trainers from the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) to help members of local advisory councils or coalitions and other key stakeholders to develop a plan for changing the environmental and social risk factors that increase the possibility of opioid misuse by their citizens. Training topics will include recruitment of specific community sectors, coalition management, planning, marketing and a track especially for law enforcement.
